CIIMAHNS offers internship program for the student studying in medical and allied healthcare professional courses and looking for practical clinical exposure in a structured hospital setting
CIIMHANS Internship program offers:
Clinical Exposure:Students will have a exposure to a wide range of psychiatric patients across different age groups and diagnostic categories.
Psychiatric History Taking: Students will be guided to learn psychiatric history taking, mental status examination and diagnostic formulations under a guidance of mental health professionals.
Clinical Interviews: The skills of clinical interviews shall be imparted to the students to acquire skills in observation, listening, communications, analysis etc. students will have practical orientation sessions with observe and participate in structured and semi-structured interviews
Group Sessions : Students will have opportunity to learn working in group setting where mental health professionals will facilitate group sessions with patients with different psychiatric disorders.
Practical Classes : Students will have opportunity to attend psychiatry and clinical classes on mental disorders, case history taking, diagnostic clarification, therapeutic formulation, and clinical assessments.
Case demonstration and Discussions: Students will get one to one case demonstration and discussion opportunity with mental health professional to understand diagnosis and management.

Accommodation: CIIMHANS gives accommodation facility to the students within hospital premises.
Meals: Students can avail CIIMHANS canteen facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
